Dr. Waldo, DC, DACO, CSCS, his lovely bride Katie, and their daughters Addison and Makenzie live in Elgin, IL. Steve is the youngest of 3 children and grew up in the northern suburbs of Illinois. He has gained numerous academic and athletic awards in baseball at the high school and collegiate level. He had the privilege to extend his education by performing his internship at the Berto Center and with the Chicago Bulls. Steve graduated with a BA from Trinity International University and a minor in Coaching and Fitness Specialist in 1999. Steve was the recipient of The National Major of Year Award from the National Academy of Sports and Physical Education, he was the captain of his college baseball team at Trinity and was asked to compete in many major league scouting events but his professional dreams fell short. Steve thanks God for that unanswered prayer because he would not have met his wonderful wife and furthered his educational career to becoming a doctor.

After graduation, Steve became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the NSCA and was hired at College Park Athletic Club in Deerfield, IL as a fitness specialist. He worked there for 3 years for many junior high, high school and collegiate athletes as well as the public, helping them attain their fitness goals. At this point Steve realized that he wanted to help people more than he was already doing. He entered National University of Health Sciences (formerly National College of Chiropractic) in Lombard, IL and earned a BS in Human Biology and graduated December of 2005 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Waldo is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), Illinois Chiropractic Association, the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  In early 2009 he began his two year studies in Orthopedics and then earned his Diplomate from the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists.  Since its inception in 1978 there are approximately 1,000 DACO and/or DABCO's in the chiropractic profession.

Dr. Waldo’s intensity and focus on life inspires his patients. His insatiable desire for knowledge and learning only improve on his already professional demeanor. Dr. Waldo will be striving to attain Diplomates in Rehab and Neurology in the years to come.
